yay :D

I have just finished reading Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. For now I will keep my writing short because I need to return the book to the library, but hope to return and say a bit more at a later date. When I began reading this book I was unsure if I would like it and was really rather indifferent to it until I had a read a decent portion of it. As the date of its needed return to the library grew nearer I became a more aggressive reader and read it basically whenever I was able to, only being prevented by the visiting of my grandparents and my sports. As I have now finished it I am willing to say that I am happy that I chose to read it. I enjoyed it. I think what made it rather intriguing to me was the possibility of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy being together. I believe their possible relationship was what held my attention the most.
As I previous said, I liked Pride and Prejudice quite a bit, although it took some time to really grab my attention. So while I doubt most guys would find it very interesting I do believe some girls would like it. If you are ever in need of something to read, I would recommend reading it.

I'm glad you liked Pride and Prejudice. I agree, though, it does take a while to get into it. It took me about half the book to actually be interested. Once I was though, I really enjoyed it. There's a movie by the BBC that's about five hours long, but really accurate. It's pretty good, too.

I am still reading Emma, suprise suprise, which is also by Jane Austen, and it seemed to start off slow too but it also threw in some relationship drama i guess and made it interesting. The one thing that bothers me is she doesn't put anything together it will be written any thing....And that drives me nuts...does she do it in that one?

i've got the movie if you want to borrow it. i also have the shorter hollywood version, but it's not as good... but the soaking wet, pensive Mr. Darcy is pretty amazing! Amanda.. I didn't really like Emma.. true confessions... I never finished it! But the movie w/ Gweneth Paltrow is phenomenal! And I own it if you want to borrow it!

I can't remember... what was that book about? The only knowledge I have of that book comes from an episode of Wishbone, many years ago, and I've forgotten about it since then.

I read Sense and Sensibilty by Jane Austen and I never really did get into it. There was a lot of relationship stuff but none of it ever really tied together, So i am glad that you enjoyed yours and it wasn't that bad.
